Cookies Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This page explains how Tenebe Digital uses cookies on tenebe.digital. We have kept this as simple as possible. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
When you visit a website, it can save a small file on your device called a cookie. Websites use cookies to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how people use the site.
We also use something called localStorage — it works the same way as a cookie but lives in your browser rather than being sent back and forth to our server. We use it to remember your cookie choice.
2. What we store on your device
We keep this minimal. Here is everything we store, in plain English:
Your cookie choiceStrictly Necessary
When you click Accept or Reject on our cookie banner, we save that decision so we do not ask you again. Without this, the banner would pop up on every single page you visit. This is stored in your browser's localStorage and stays there until you clear your browser data. It is strictly necessary for the site to work properly, so it does not need your consent.
Google AnalyticsOnly if you click Accept
If you accept cookies, we load Google Analytics. This tells us things like how many people visit the site, which pages they read, and roughly where in the world they are coming from. It does not tell us who you are. Your IP address is anonymised before it reaches Google. Two files are saved: one that recognises you as a returning visitor, and one that tracks your current session. Both disappear after two years. If you click Reject, none of this loads.
Google Analytics is run by Google
Google Analytics is run by Google LLC, which may store data outside the UK. You can read how Google handles data at policies.google.com/privacy.
3. Changing your mind
You can update your choice any time by clicking Cookie Preferences in the footer. You can also go into your browser settings and delete cookies yourself. A plain guide to doing this is at aboutcookies.org.
If you withdraw consent, we stop loading Google Analytics straight away.
4. Do Not Track
Some browsers let you switch on a Do Not Track signal. If yours is switched on, we treat it the same as clicking Reject and do not load Google Analytics.
5. Updates
If we start using new cookies, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will reset the cookie banner so you can make a fresh choice.
