Terms of Service
Last updated: December 2025
These Terms govern services provided by Tenebe Digital ("we", "us", "our") to clients ("you"). By engaging us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We design and build websites and custom AI systems. The exact deliverables, scope, and timeline for your project will be set out in a written quote or statement of work agreed with you before work starts.
2. Quotes and pricing
Prices are quoted in GBP. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Websites typically start from £500 and custom builds with AI integration up to £2,500; final pricing depends on scope.
3. Payment terms
- 50% deposit is payable before work begins.
- 50% balance is payable on project completion, before final files and ownership transfer.
- Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue. Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Timeline
Most projects are delivered within 7 days of receiving your brief and deposit. Complex builds with AI integration may take up to 14 days. Timelines depend on you providing content, feedback, and approvals promptly.
5. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included within the first 2 weeks after launch. Additional changes thereafter are billed at our standard rate or covered by a maintenance package (from £75/month).
6. Ownership and intellectual property
On receipt of full payment, all custom design, code, and content created specifically for your project become your property. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins, AI APIs) remain subject to their respective licences. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, content, and approvals in good time.
- Ensure you own (or have permission to use) any content you supply.
- Maintain your own accounts (domain registrar, hosting, third-party services) after handover.
8. Liability
We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under or in connection with a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project in writing. The deposit is non-refundable once work has started. You will be invoiced for work completed up to the cancellation date.
10. Confidentiality
We will treat any non-public information you share with us as confidential and use it solely to deliver your project.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
